He guys,
I experienced telogen effluvium (stress related) hair loss 6 years ago and never quite recovered all my thickness. My scalp always seems to be inflamed now, I have over production of sebum smothering my hair follicles and I still shed more than I used to.
Anyways, I’m still trying to nip this problem in the butt and get my hair back to the way it was and had a breakthrough about 8 months ago when I visited a trichologist who gave me some advice about balancing my hormones with correct supplements, dissolving built up sebum on my scalp, eating a proper diet, and using some other natural topical tonics.
Long story short the topical tonics they gave me worked AMAZING. Seriously, it changed my whole view on natural remedies and hair loss. Anyways, I’m not sure what was in the topical tonics but I believe it was a combination of niacin, biotin and maybe lavender oil.
Tricologists have known about these methods for many years and I think they are just as effective as Rogaine if not more, but since they are not marketable drugs they receive no attention.
Has anyone else had success with this topical formula? I know there are a couple of forums where people talk about it and have legitimate hair growth but if you’ve never met with a tichologist or experimented with natural hair loss remedies you probably would never have heard about it.
Thanks for the feed back guys.
