I'm planing to develop my own spironolactone cream. It will contain 5% spironolactone, 2% ketoconazole, 1% Caffeine, Menthol and other ingredients but the key is combining spironolactone and ketoconazole.

Is there any news about new Genhair S5?
They want to combine spironolactone and Finasteride lotion.

I’ve always wondered why other people don’t try this, especially the guys who apply five different topicals or whatever. I have heard spironolactone doesn’t mix well with minoxidil (if you were planning to add this to your mixture?) Is this true?

It may also be beneficial to add Aloe Vera, green tea extract, and possibly MSM + Biotin (Have heard can encourage faster minoxidil growth, not too sure of the validity, but hey MSM is dirt cheap)

Lastly, are you adding these ingredients to Nizoral shampoo? It could be beneficial to buy a 5% Keto cream and adding the entire mixture to a conditioner.

spironolactone and minoxidil together create awful smell thats why nobody in the right mind is trying to combine them. I may add bioton and green tea extract as well.

I'm using 2% ketoconazole cream and I'm quite happy with it. 5% ketoconazole would be way too powerful and it would create problems. I'm not going to add those ingredients to Nizoral shampoo. It's going to be a cream.

Carefull with adding too much stuff in 1 thing. Some chemicals/ingredients may react with eachother and make them useless or at worst bader for hairgrowth.

Ketoconazole, spironolactone, bioton, caffeine they are ok all together. There shouldn't be any interaction between those ingredients but the main idea is to mix ketoconazole and spironolactone. It will be called SPIRONAZOLE CREAM!

Sounds like a terrific plan, I too uses 2% Keto Cream when necessary. (ie. days when I fear I might miss my Keto Shampoo routine.)

Please do keep us posted on how the project goes!

I'm using 2% ketoconazole cream every other day. It's much better than using just shampoo.

is there a way to just crush some spironolactone pills into the cream and mix?
whatd you guys think?

It's not that simple. You have to be very precise mixing things like that.
