Hi,

Less than a year ago ( very small time frame) I noticed that my hairline and area around there is thinning and it's been aggressive since then. I am 22 years old. I don't seem to "shed", I never find loose hairs in the shower, it feels more like my scalp is closing in on each hair strand making it tighter. I've decided now I want to start using products and my current plans are to get a thyroid (runs in the family) and prostate check, and probably go for a prescription for Propecia. I was going to start using Rogaine foam but the vertex areas it's suppose to help are fine for me, it's just the very front hairline area thats beginning to rapidly thin out, and I suppose leading up to but not the crown area. If anyone who reads this watches The Sopranos, think of Paulie Walnuts's hair, or maybe it's more like Sting's if it recedes more--that's how I'd compare to where I see mine going right now...My dad is basically bald on the top area but with hair in the temples and back, over the crown. And yes, mine definatly receded some I would say.

Before I can see a doctor to get propecia and the other checks ( keep in mind I have no medical insurance and am looking for a way to get all these in one appointment..) I've thought about using Revivogen and also Sal Palmetto extracts (maybe Ultra-Prostagen) for prostate, and Biotin vitamins. I want to try what seems to have the best help for my particular male pattern baldness.
I do have other suspicions on what's causing it.
1. I have been going through major stress, sleepless nights, lack of excercise maybe even possibly something bacterial from sex ( pretty sure not std though)
2. Malnutrition --I don't eat well, take any sort of vitamins or drink enough water... I'm trying to fix this.

The only shampoo I use liberally now is Redken's if it matters.

I hope some of the readers here can suggest the best course of action for my particular hair problems and also a sort of regimen for making sure I'm getting the right nutrients--I mean definite nutrients, ones anybody should be getting period, not so much experimental-- that through lacking could be causing this, thanks.

The top picture is of a couple months back--maybe a little before a prolonger haircut. The other two are taken this sunless morning. Also since I took this close with a cell I think it may look like my hair is longer than it is, the front is about 2 inches high, and things are depleting.

Just get on the big three. Most importantly finasteride or dutasteride.
Ask yourself do all your freinds live healthy lifestyles (probably not) and are they all losing their hair like you?
