Newbie - To Order Frontal Hairpiece Or Bigger?

Hi, I'm from Malaysia. I'm doing research on getting a hairpiece online and I have some questions I could not get any answer.

I'm currently norwood 3v or 4 (I think). I cover the bald part on the crown of my head using Toppik.

I'm considering to only order a frontal hairpiece to cover the front part while continuing to apply Toppik on the crown. This way, I do not need to shave the top of my head and attach with a bigger hairpiece.

I'm not sure if it's ok and it will blend nicely together. Attached are photos without Toppik.

Please help if you have any opinion regarding this..

Thanks!

It looks from the second photo that your crown is also thinning quite significantly. I would say you will get a better result from a full sized system, rather than just a front partial. This is a good time to act, before it becomes too noticeable.

you should go for the topper. I was at a similar stage when I made the switch.

Thanks. Still hard to get myself ready to shave half of my head. If I really go for the front partial hairpiece + toppik for crown, just to try out, will the result be very unnatural?

No, that is perfectly doable. There are lots of guys who have a full hairline but a bald patch at the crown.

Thanks. Another question... I can't find any professional cut-in stylist here in Malaysia. So i want to ask what other options do I have? Can I just walk in to any hair salon to do it?
