Hello everybody. I have been noticing that my hair has been thinning considerably, and I'm at the point that I need to take action. I've read numerous reviews about numerous products, but I wanted to get some feedback before moving forward with anything. I've heard over and over that Minoxidil plus Propecia is the tried and true best combo, but I'm nervous about the possible side affects of Propecia, and I don't want to experience the shedding common with Minoxidil. After reading some reviews, it looks like Tricomin is a good alternative growth stimulant to Minoxidil, and I haven't heard anybody report initial shedding from this product. As far as antiandrogens/DHT blockers are concerned, this site has recommended S5 Lotion, Revivogen, and Folligen. Not sure which route to go on this one, but I would like something topical (if there is a good topical alternative to Propecia). I also plan on using the Nizoral shampoo in conjunction with whatever other products I start using.
With that being said, my questions are:
1.) Is my logic sound in my approach (i.e. Growth stimulant + antiandrogen/DHT blocker + anti-inflammation shampoo)?
2.) Are Tricomin and Nizoral both good products, or should I be looking into different solutions, given my above concerns?
3.) Does anybody recommend a good topical antiandrogen/DHT blocker that would work well with the other two products?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
