Hey guys im new here

so im of indian decent and i have naturally thick hair. hairline is pretty much 9/10 but the edges are ever so slightly receding. honestly i shouldn't even be concerned (im am 20 years old) but I am just self conscious, and just want to add some hairs onto my corners.

this is how i would say my hairline looks: http://i.imgur.com/evyLVKH.jpg

i honestly want to maintain my hair and keep it as healthy and thick as possible. my hair had gone thru hell past couple years, blowdry every day, products every day. i skin shaved it all off in December and now its grown back to normal length. im trying to grow it out longer, not ponytail length but around 8-9 inches.

so after growing over some threads and online this is what i came up with

apply Jamaican castor oil 2 times a week
take 10000mcg biotin pills everyday
wash hair only 2 times a week (when i apply the oil, i will sleep on it and wash in the morning)
use NATURAL shampoos and conditioners (found these, but if you got any better recommendations let me know)

use a natural styling creme like this:

so yeah thats what im gonna start doing. gonna keep my edges nice and short to reduce possibility of falling out (dont know if this is true, but i also just like the look of it)

incase any of you are wondering how I came across these products, i found them on this forum called Menshairforum

as you can tell the things listed above are very normal. after going through some threads here, i came across minoxidil and other forms of treatment. I honestly dont NEED them, but if any would be beneficial in keeping my hair thick, healthy, stopping from falling out, and even growing a bit on the corners i would love to hear about those products.. so please let me know haha !

thanks a lot everyone

You amazon links contain a referral code
So basically you're selling us shampoo to get your percentage
Does it work on other hair loss sites?

EDIT: well I was wrong: someone else was the affiliate, this person just copied their links!

If you attach a tag id to your amazon links (tag=atft-20 in yours), you are trying to make a profit, or someone is trying to scam you into a profit.
is atft-20 a friend?

All about this fantastic trick here:

EDIT: I was wrong again! He copied another seller's links :) shame on me.

Oh I see
It's one of those sites where they give good suggestion based on the amazon revenues they get
Sorry if I thought it was you who were benefitting from it. Always be careful with online sale links...

Anyways: in this forum there is a section devoted to "alternatives" to the "big three" superchemical anti-male pattern baldness remedies (finasteride, minoxidil, ketoconazol)

It is here: http://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/forumdisplay.php/17-Alternative-Treatments

No shampoo, conditioner or styling product can regrow hair. If you are already using castor oil topically I would also recommend taking it orally, I think it works best used both ways (if it works.) Might as well cover your bases since you already own it. But not all castor oil are the same, so I would look into that. I think for hair loss you're supposed to use regular castor oil, not black or Jamaican.
