It has come to my attention through constant observation that balding rates are much higher amongst men with paler skin. Practically every second guy in Scandinavia or Britain is balding and balding fast. Balding is by and large a caucasian male issue. If you look at black African men or even latino men the balding rates are MUCH less. I dare say even rare. So I therefore postulate that male pattern baldness is related to melanin in the skin. Men with darker skin have developed naturally darker skin over time to protect them from the hot sun in Africa. So sun exposure and recieving vitamin D from the sun was an everyday occurance and rarely an issue. But men in Europe don't get to see as much sunlight, their skin is pale and perhaps male pattern baldness developed over time due to a deficiency in vitamin D due to lack of sun exposure. Hence why men develop bald patches on the back of their heads. I mean think about it, men are standing up most of the time so their hair would block any chance the sun makes in its rare appearance in europe from hitting their pale sun deprived skin. So as a result of this men began to develop bald patches in a NW7 style fashion to act as a kind of sun dial to channel the precious sunlight for vital vitamin D production in a cloudy gloomy sunless Europe.
