New Theory About Hair Loss

I watched a very interesting youtube video (is from a tv show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZ80u2RoX7o) about a clinic where their clientes are getting some new hair growing after cleaning the scalp...

I also think is a good theory that hair loss is caused by all these substances (like sebum, dandruff etc) that block the hair growth...think that it should be easy to find substances in nature and natural ingredients that clean the scalp so we avoid these stuff that blocks the hair growth...dont think we really have to spend any money and buy any products or topicals...ingredients from the nature should be enough to clean the scalp

Thing is, when people take drugs like finasteride they do see a decrease in sebum production so if they do cause hairloss then taking things like finasteride work well

Also, it's not exactly easy finding substances in nature which work properly

Sebum doesn't stop hair growth. Androgens do.

You know how long that theory, that idea that sebum "clogs" hair follicles has been around online? More than a decade. You aren't the first who got that idea. So no sebum doesn't trap the poor little follicle, preventing him for escaping. If only hair loss was that easy to solve.

in my case im having sebum exactly where im losing the hair..on the back..and around the crown i dont have any sebum and im not losing hair there....
btw i dont think is that easy to stop sebum production?

If this were true, every bum living on the street and showering rarely would be bald and that is not the case.

That's because the miniaturizing follicles have more DHT around them so there's more sebum and more itch in those regions.
