Hi everyone, i've been visiting the forum for a couple months now but have finally decided to post. As far as little bit about my situation, i'm a freshmen in college and have been slowing shedding for a little under a year, mostly at the hairline, and just recently at the crown. In December, i had a pretty large shed, and in a panic started taking propecia, i then added minoxodil a month later and am currently using nizoral. As far as results, i have not really seen any. My hair seems to have gotten worse actually. I know that it is early, but it is extremely hard to stay optimistic, if it seems that the medicine is doing more to harm than good. Lately, this whole "male pattern baldness" thing is consuming me. It's the first thing i think about when i wake up and the last thing i think about when i go to sleep. It is especially hard because it is my first year at college, there are so many things i would be doing if i had all of my hair, it's just so frustrating sometimes i can't stand it.
Well, i guess my question is, is there anything else that i should add to my regime? I am not currently on any kind of multi vitamin, but have been looking at "procerin" as a multi vitamin as well as a "dht inhibitor" (in conjunction with propecia) I have also read about other natural supplments and other forms of treatment (green tea, fish oil, emu oil etc.--reflexology, scalp message etc.) and was wondering if these were worth a try. I have quit smoking marijuana and have cut my drinking down to once every two weeks. Is there anything else that i am missing? As far as treatment options money is not really a problem, at this point i will do anything to get results. I have about 200 bucks right now to spend right now but can pawn a few of my belongings to try anything. I just really need something to work. I know it's vain, but i can see myself with hair, and i would be so much happier...Any help anyone could give me would be really really appreciated. Thanks for listening--and good luck to everyone.

I think you should just stick with Propecia, how old are you right now? I know it can be hard being around people in college and all but you can't let that get the best of you. Give propecia a solid year to get a better oppinion of it. stick with nizoral 2/3 times a week and maybe minoxidil if needed....and don't worry about it cuz infact... it's only hair. I'm 22 and thining... im battling it out aswell, i'm just a little bit more on the positive side.
