Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing good. I have to admit I am starting to loss my hair around the crown area at age 25 and im just not ready to give up with out a fight. So Im moving passed the denial stage and im going to try to treat my hair loss.
Im interested in finasteride, however do i need a doctors prescription? what mg should i start on? anything else i should be aware about this drug?

i'd say, inhousepharmacy.biz - fincar. split them into 1/4s, one batch will cost you a tenner or something and last a few months. read about possible side effects but take them all with a pinch of salt, a lot of it is very paranoid people making themselves sick. a lot of people have had great success with it, just check the 'success stories' section of this forum.

I think what kthxbi is saying is don't take every side-effect story you read as being completely genuine, there is a lot of paranoia about Finasteride and many of the stories you'll read are not necessarily caused by the drug directly.

That being said, Finasteride is a very powerful drug and you should not begin taking it (or any) medication before understanding all the risks associated with it, regardless of how low the chance of side-effects are. Personally I would say you should at the very least speak to your physician prior to starting treatment and continue to have regular checks.
