About 6 months ago I asked the same question so I thought I'd ask it again to see if there are any updates:
I'm fairly busy and don't have time to read every post in the forum, but can some summarize what medical science is up to and what kind of products I can expect to come out soon...or are already out that are beyond minoxidil/propecia? (and please no digressive opinion threads)

mostly SODs, other growth stimulants, and topical androgen receptor blockers and 5ar blockers. But these have been around for years. Just none of them are FDA approved. CPs pasted showed greater than minoxidil effectiveness in FDA phase II trials.

I think coming up with a new med significantly better than finasteride will be hard...finasteride and dutasteride esp do a good job at maintaining ur hair, but a totally new idea/angle of a drug will need to be figured out on how to grow hair
