New Here, Would Appreciate Some Advice.

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen,

My name is Aaron, I'm a 34 year old guy living in Berkshire UK. I have been slowly losing my hair for the last ten years. First to go was my hairline, in fact I've never really had a good hairline, it has always been slightly receded. Now however, I would say I'm about a NW4 possibly 5.

I have been shaving my head for about 6 years now, due to not having the patience or want to do anything else.

Now however, I'm really starting to miss having hair! We have just had a Son who is 5 months old so I wonder if that is making me want to feel younger/trendier again.

In terms of why to do, I'm at a loss. I was looking at YouTube videos with hair systems and I suppose that looks good but I'm really not at all knowledgable.

A hair transplant I think is just too expensive, and I don't even know what the difference is between FUE or FUT!

Then there is this concealer hair fibre stuff. I just had some 'Hair Illusion' delivered, sprinkled some on, and I just felt like I'd just dumped some curry powder on my head. I have very minimal length hair at the moment though, so I realise I should wait and grow it out a bit first.

I'm here just to see what advice people can give, and to see how bad a state my hair is in I suppose!

If I was you I would just go on as you are or get a hair system but good ones are expensive as are adjustments.

At the end of the day, you're married with a kid. It's not the end of your life, far from it but if I was you I would not worry about it as you seem to have a good shaped head for the shaved look. Maybe look into SMP, I saw someone recently who had hair similar to yours looked okay although I noticed it because it's something I do now (unfortunately).

I'm prepared for the option of just continuing to shave my head, I just feel like if I ever do attempt anything else, now would be the time.

SMP is where they tattoo your hair to look like its shaved, it's not permanent lasts a couple of years I think.

Hi Aaron, congratulations for your family. A son is incredible to ....., I have 3 daughters....
Don`t worry for your hair now, please don't waste $$ in hair but in your family. Enjoy it.
Your case, in my opinion, is difficult. Hair regrowth is only possible by hair trasplant, and you looks fine.
"I have been shaving my head for about 6 years now" , you are able to win the battle.
Other solution is drastic, a protesis.
Scalp pigmentation is unnatural and change its color with the time.
