Hi All,

I was born with nice thick hair but always scared to loss my hair since baldness runs on my father’s side. At age 20 I notice that the side of head had a “landing strip†type pattern. But still had a full set of hair. In my mid 20’s I could see more hair lost and try to us Rogaine but stopped due to lack of results (did not give it enough time). By early 30’s I pretty much had come to the conclusion that I was going to lose my hair – but until recently (I am 38) that reality had not really hit. I recall about 2 years ago after a haircut when I was happy with the amount of hair I had, but as of 6 months ago I feel I am now bald. I still have hair and only 2 quarter size “shining†spots. But the amount of hair is pretty low now. Cut at a 2 clip you can see I am full bald (diffused).

So it might be too late for me for I figure I will give it a try. hair transplant is not something I am willing to do so oral and topical are more only choice. I keep really about the big 3 but to be honest
I am scared of propecia. Might still give it a shot but saw under the DHT inhivitos that Revivogen is also an option?

So I am going out today and getting rogaine and nizoral…but what about S5 is it worth it?

Is Revivogen ok to try over propecia?

Do I have to get see a hair transplant doctor to get procecia?

To be clear, I am not expecting to have a full set of hair but would love to get to where I was 2 years ago and main it even if just for 5-10 years? Is this doable?

Thanks,

As I understand, it is plausible to reclaim hair that had been lost within the last five years or so. If a follicle has died, no chemical treatment will resurrect it.
