New Hair System, Have Sore Scalp, Discomfort

Hi there,
I just got a hair system on saturday 30 of August 2016, I have to say that looks the part and I'm happy as Larry.
The only downturn is that I seem to have a very sore scalp under the hair system when I press it.
I'm booked to see the hair technician to have the system cleaned in 3 weeks. I will ask them over the phone before hand if the issue continues.
has anyone had any issue with throbbing or sore scalp?

Hi Radra

Itching is not uncommon, but throbbing sounds a bit more serious. I wouldn't wait 3 weeks - better to go and get it looked at now. You don't want to get into a position where you have to take the piece off for an extended period to let your scalp recover, and then you are stuck going around with a half-shaven head. You may well just need a different type of adhesive, or to use a barrier cream ("scalp protector") between scalp and adhesive.

Good to hear that the piece looks good though. Where did you get it done, if you don't mind my asking?
