I'm new to the forum so will give a quick introduction and would like some advice.

I'm 29 years old and have slight hair loss that I have notice for maybe the past 5 years. Not a huge amount I don't think, none at the crown that I can tell but some receding and thinning at the front, I think it has been quite a slow process. Still it is noticeable and I want to do what I can to stop, well, slow this down as much as possible.

I'm not really interesting in growing new hair, as don't think this is really possible at the front of the hair, I just want to do all I can to make what I have as thick as possible and slow down or stop any hair loss.

This is what I have used and what I was planning to use;

When washing my hair I rotate between Head and Shoulders classic and Nizoral. I have used the Aminexil treatment as this seemed to be what I wanted, something to slow down hair loss. So far I have just used the vials for 6 weeks periods twice a year and then just the shampoos I mentioned above in between. I noticed they now do a spray with aminexil in it that you use in-between the 6 weeks treatments. I was planning on introducing this and maybe Revita Hair Loss shampoo as have heard some good stories.

I'm about to invest in some new products so have been doing some research and having been reading some negative things about aminexil so am having a rethink.

I guess the main problem is my hair loss is quite small at the moment, and has been fairly slow, so I’m not sure if my routine has been helping or if it all has just been happening at a natural pace.

There is a wealth of information out there and I’m getting very confused so would just like some advice. I've really tired to avoid minoxil as the twice a day routine and the fact it only effects the crown of the head is not what I want, but am maybe considering Spectral DNC, besides, you never know when it might start going at the crown so would like to get in there early to delay this!

So what would people advise?

Would my routine of aminexil advance treatment twice a year with amenixil spray in-between, Nizoral, Revita Hair Loss shampoo and head and shoulders be a good one? Is there anything else people would advise?

Would Spectral DNC be better? Or something totally different I've missed? Would taking Saw Palmetto tablets help?

Remember my main aim is slowing down hair loss and thinkinging what I’ve got rather than regrowth. Sorry for the long post, I just am getting quite confused and want to be happy with what I'm doing before I spend money.

Thank in advance.

So can no one point me in the direction where I can read about if aminexil is worth it or not, I'm searching but can;t find much.

Thanks
