Anybody else who can honestly say they've always had a receded looking hairline? Me at 11 years old:

I had one as a young kid, but everytime I began growing, so apperantly did my forehead. You could very well say I had a mature hairline at age 14. And it didn't stay that way of coarse...

Mine actually started receding at the age of 14 too, but it was much longer then. I attributed it to having really weak hair and straightening it all the time which might still be true but now I've stopped the other side is catching up (age 19.) I might even just have a mature hairline but even so it looks a lot worse considering my juvenile hairline.

Same here. My hair was very full up untill at least age 18, might've receded more after age 17, and then it got really bad before I turned 19. Died a little inside from that point after finding out...

I can relate to that a lot. I don't think I was ever receded, but my forehead (more like fivehead) was always huge. Same story, amazing hair till 19, than *boom* life is cruel. I never thought I will end up on a forum like this. I always thought I am one of those guys with long, beautiful hair. It's so hard to start losing something you can't imagine yourself without.

On top of my huge forehead and receded looking hairline, my hair was always pretty terrible. I've always tried different cuts and regrowing it, often thinking 'this time it'll look pretty good.' Not likely.
