While donor hair is obviously less susceptible to being lost, they are not immune. And obviously his crown, where he did not get a transplant, is not immune. Being so young with aggressive hair loss, it is not wise to have no protection. Either way it looks good for now. I understand people's reluctance to take Finasteride, there is no shame in not taking an oral hormone disruptor for hair loss. But he should at least be doing everything else he can.
