Hello
So I do have hairloss MBP style which finasteride along with minoxidil and other shampoos etc is taking care of quite nicely.

HOWEVER, right dab down the middle of my head starting at my hairline I am thinning rather quickly, it looks like I am mutilated and has no geometric pattern. It is spreading inwards (towards my crown) and is really starting to bother me.

I had a basic blood work checkup done and all my thyroid numbers are fine, including TSH T3 T4 etc.

I went to a dermatologist and he told me that it is normal MBP (lol) which obviously it isnt.

This has been getting worse along with random ringing in my ear (left and right) and other mood/energy level changes for the worse. Some mild constipation as well.

Wondering if anyone can help!

man I got the same thing ringing in the ears, tired, not hungry, weak as sh*t, no sex drive, along with hair and eyebrow loss. My hair grows in very thin, even my sideburns and then falls out again. Gotta be something other than male pattern baldness. Ive had a biopsy done and it was "suggestive of androgenetic alopecia" I asked the Doctor what suggestive ment in the terms of a biopsy and he basically said it might or might not be. If you find out whats up hit me up. sorry i cant help more. btw they want me to go for a multiple scorosis test, talk about scary

I have a sh*t load of flakey skin under my eyebrows so in one respect I think I have dermatitis causing my hair loss. Its not red or anything. My eyebrow and head hair that falls looks thinner at the root then the end like in aa. My hair on my head and beard also has turned gray almost overnight. All thyroid problems,. My problems all started after accutane 1.5 years ago. I have had my thryoid tested 11 times in the last 18 months. I have had my tsh, t4,t3, ana antibodies, ect ect. I am on 75mcg of synthroid but still feel like sh*t. I am under tremedous stress so some beleive that is the cause, I dont. My eyebrow hair is diffuse loss more towards the inner by my nose and at the edges. My tsh level was 4.12 last month, still fairly high. this hair loss thing has turned me into a different person, especially my eyebrows. My skin is dry, my head itches all male pattern baldness signs but also thryoid signs. I can gently pull out as many head hairs and eyebrows that my sanity allows, and no I do not pull on my hair. My wife sees this the docs see it. they just dont know what to do. I have been to 5 derms, 2 endos. I honestly think im going crazy. but then again if u think ur crazy that means ur not right. lol pm me any time

Sounds like stress to me. Before all this started, did something dramatic change in your life?

Did you switch to another brand of finasteride?
Also, check of poisoning or heavy metals.

If you clinch or grind your teeth while asleep you may want to get a night guard. I have been wearing one for about six years. I had one made at the dentest office. They can also be purchased on line for much less $$$. If you dont wear one now you may end up with quite a bit of damage to your teeth In the future, very expensive damage at that, good luck.:) I dont know to many people that can rock the no hair and no teeth look.
