Hey everyone,
21 year old male. Paternal history of androgenic alopecia. I have a very different hairline from my father, but i may be experiencing a similar hair loss pattern to him (he started balding at 27 on his left side; propecia halted this and he has a respectable head of hair). My mother's side of the family does not have much hair loss at all, and I am the spitting image of her, especially when it comes to hair. I have some pictures here for reference, and also a snap of me at 16 (i was much fatter back then). My hair is currently longer than it ever has been in my life, so I am wondering if keeping it short has prevented the folicles from getting tugged and strained.
I do not use anything in my hair right now other than styling products. I do not wear hats or my hair in a pony tail .Lemme know if any more info would help. Ty in advance
