need help

i'm using propecia for 13 months, after few months there was an improvement, i was lossing less hair but in the last 2-3 months I feel it's loosing it's effectivness , the hair is getting thiner, espacialy on the crown area.... i tried minoxi before the propecia and it did nothing but damage to my scalp.
should i move to avodart? what can i expect from it (can it grow hair or just maintain the current situation)?

periods of shedding are not uncommon on finasteride. i would stay on unless you're sure thats it's definitely losing efficacy. are you using anything else in your regimen?
