Need Help Thinning Hair On Temples?

I did make a post previously asking about if I had a receding hairline or not but I didn't show the state of my temple, only my hairline. I'm only 14, do I have a receding hairline or balding as all my friends say so. I'm considering going to the doctors.

But why does it look so thin on my temples? There's sort of patches in it where the skin shows through. Is it just cuz I've got very short sides

Bro your hair is fine. Trust me if you were losing hair, you would definitely be able to tell. What's happening is your friends made a joke about it and hair loss being a fear for you, your mind goes crazy analyzing every detail of your hairline trying to find assurance it's not happening.
Search on google what confirmation bias is. Cause that might be the case too, it was with me.

You have fine blonde hair as in the opposite of thick hair, thats why you can see your temples. When you were 10 you would of had that. Its your natural hairline and genetic makeup of your hair.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who went through this EXACT situation. My hair got cut extremely short back in November, and 1 friend made a balding joke cause my scalp was visible and since then I’ve been going exactly what you said lmao.

So at the end of the day I guess my hair is absolutely fine and it's just me worrying lol? Thanks a lot for everyone's answers, I feel way more reassured now.
