Hi all,
Just getting my lineup ready to begin my hairless battle.
Most of the loss/thinning that concerns me is in the crown area, hairline is still a 2.5'ish, which I'm fine hopefully maintaining.
The crown area has a bald/thinning spot approx 2"x2". There are some hairs sprouting in there, but they're currently much shorter than the surrounding hairs, and don't have much faith in them taking off (see Pic attached).

I've already ordered Rogaine foam as a topical (will be using Propecia and Nizoral and Regenpure shampoo as well)

My question is,

1. Is it worth adding either/both Tricomin Follicle Therapy Spray and/or S5 Cream on top of the Big 3?

2. Would it be safe to use S5 cream if also using derma roller once a week? (I've read on the importance to ensure that spironolactone does not go systematic)

Thanks for all your help guys!

Hey guys, any input on these items would be greatly appreciated. I'm just starting treatments now, and would prefer to start with the complete product lineup for the entirety of the time in order to accurately assess at the 6 month mark. Thanks!

Based on my own experience with male pattern baldness I would suggest to you or anyone else no matter how desperate and insecure you may or may not while confronting your own hair loss try one topical at a time before you introduce another. This approach might help minimize your own anxiety a little because the last thing anyone should do is over-react for this tends to over stimulate one's already likely nervous state which history and science have proven leads to more serious problems plus starting one product at a time gives your skin/body better time to adjust to these new chemical changes. Try and step back a moment and remember that time can be your friend. Best Wishes!

thanks you kindly for the advice on putting things into perspective.:)

I am currently experiencing similar crown-specific hair loss as the original poster and am currently in a panic to get all my meds/treatments together ASAP.
i can see how easily one can get caught up on going overboard initially with the amount of drugs/supplements to take.

One other question..for similar crown loss to the above, which has occurred over a 4ish year period of thinning (yes i know, should have taken finasteride 4 years ago)…how realistic is it for any of those hairs to regrow. I know people/research shows that finasteride works best to regrow recently lost/miniaturized hairs. Would 3-4 years count as recent for that purpose?? *FINGERS CROSSED*
