HI, i need some info from guys who have stopped taking propecia !!

I am still experiencing intense itch after 8 months on propecia , and my harline continued to get worse in this period of time! i am thinking of coming off propecia for a while to see how thing goes! I am pretty sure the itch related to my hairloss !!

BUt before i quit, i just want to make sure if i am making a mistake! Here are a few questions i wouldi like to ask.

If after quitting , things actually get worse , can i go back on propecia and how would things like at that point of time ? ( make my hairloss worse )

How do i quit ? i heard slowly reducing the dosage is the way to go ? but how to ? i have reduced to around 0.5 mg now but how long do i need to stay on 0.5mg before i can quit it totally ?

Please give me extra information regarding quitting propecia and what is likely to happen to me ? anyone who experience the same thing as me ? i am afraid to make a mistake again , ( i think i have made a mistake by taking propeica )

Stay on .5mg of Propecia for 3 months and see if things get better. I cut my dosage and things got better after a month. Its been since beginning of March that I cut my dosage and so far no problems. For some reason I thought after a month of cutting it, I thought my hair seems thicker overall. I would think about trying something like Promox which has topical finasteride and maybe you can ween off the finasteride. Many people have been saying good things about Promox so far. I think I am going to try it.
