So let me start by saying that I’m currently 23 years old. I’ve always been into longer hair and for the most part my hair has always been fine. Genetically my Dad started to thin at a fairly young age (30s) so there’s no question that this has probably gotten to me genetically. I need insight as to what options are out there, any medications, shampoos, vitamins that can help reverse thinning. I currently take multi-vitamins, sometimes I’ll take Zinc, and I’m using Pura’D Or shampoo. I would also like to mention that I’ve dealt with a dry scalp for a good amount of time now. I have yet to see a doctor, but I would like to have feedback from others who have been in my shoes prior to spending money on medical help. I recently got a haircut and this is usually what indicates my troublesome areas. I also posted a picture that shows my hair when it’s grown out, it appears that everything is fine when it’s longer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
