Hey guys, I'd really appreciate some help here as I am quite lost what to do.

First it was crown, now temples are a concern and most recently front hairline is taking a hit. I'm 33, I exercise alot and am just generally a healthy eater.

I've been using Minoxidil for 2 years now, twice a day. Recently switched to Kirkland Extra Strength as I was paying to much for ones I was getting from a clinic.

I take a Biotin capsule a day.

I don't use any special shampoo. I do shampoo daily, every morning.

-

I've seen some people on this forum using DR REGENAPURE, does anyone recommend that for me and what exactly? The shampoo? Or the Conditioner or something else?

I find styling my hair a nightmare...I can never do it where I'm happy. I tend to use Hair Powder thickening products that seem to help me to style.

Since Minoxidil, the ends of my hair are really wavy/broken. So around 2x a week I use a Hair Oil in the night - this one specifically - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Thickening-Nourishing-Growth-Females-Children/dp/B074RCQ9W7

-

What do people recommend for a case like this?

"DR REGENERPURE" is just Promox, that's all. I use Promox. It definitely has helped me.

If you add Latanoprost (Bimaprost), it's 20.00 more. My Promox solution contains the following:

1. .1% Finasteride = one milligram oral
2. 15% Minoxidil
3. .003% Latanorprost
4. .1% Hydrocortisone (to stop scalp itching/inflamation).
5. 2.5% Progesterone (I requested this)

It helped make my vertex hair, and hairline (somewhat) more thicker. Definitely filled things in.

Google Promox, that's from Regenepure.

That is alot of things you take, is this daily? And how do you combine all this together? And has it helped? Now your forced to use these for rest of your life?

Topical Finasteride might be different for you.

Regenepure will customize any solution you want, it's doctor prescribed.

So, if you want half the dose, .5%, they will do that with you.

It's just a ten minute phone consultation. It's not free, however.

Medical Wellness Center will refund you if they don't give you a script. That said, they don't
do as much customization.

I'm confused, Regenapure you can just buy it from Amazon or Ebay, your saying something else?

I take EVEN MORE. I also use Medical Wellness Center medication, which has a stronger
Minoxidil dosage.

So yes, I'm going to be a HAIR DRUG ADDICT the rest of my life!

It is expensive, I'm not going to lie.

? Regenepure is the name of the company that sells Promox.

I live in the United States. Amazon has been BANNED from selling concentrated solutions, since 2012.

So, that is not an option for me.

Your hairline looks solid to me, I'm not sure if there's really recession going on or not.

It might be thinner on the temples, but at this point, you don't need anything extreme.

I would just microdose Finasteride and keep using Minoxidil if I were you. Also, I've heard
bad things about Belvedere Center being a complete ripoff, so I would not use them, especially
because you seem to still have a lot of hair.

Minoxidil five percent ONCE worked for me as well, and then I became a NORWOOD 3.

I would just do Finasteride and Minoxidil.

What do you mean it once worked for me? You mean it worked then with time your hair got worse, to N3 that's when you upped your dosages of products/supplements?

That's when I started using topical doctor prescribed medications, yes.

It was between a Norwood four, possibly more in 2012. It was the worst it was in my entire life.

At that point I knew I had to do something, or I would be seriously fucked.

In my case, BOTH PARENTS suffered from androgen alopecia. My male cousins (most of them) are
Norwood sixes, and they are all the same age as me (+- a few years).

That was in their fourties. And I was definitely headed that way. I did this in my early fourties, and I have a decent hair on top, and a much better hairline.

I was the poster child for Minoxidil in my early twenties. Just like you, I had a lot of hair
when I used Minoxidil.

It regrew my entire hairline. On the other hand, I lost a lot of wait, which a doctor says caused
my hair to fall out earlier than it would . I dieted and lost around fifty to one hundred pounds very
fast. So, that could be why it worked so well for me.

As the years went by, so did my hair. It slowed it down, but it definitely DID not STOP it permenantly.

That's why I say to you, start Microdosing. You have a GOOD HEAD OF HAIR now, and if you want that
in the future, you need to supplement with smaller Finasteride dosages (since you get side effects from regular dosages).

Thanks for all the info. Though I'm finding it hard to actually grip what your saying, it's alot of info and alot of products ;p

Minoxidil I am already using for the last 2 years, is there a specific version of it your recommending to use?

Microdosing, you mean using a bit of different products? That really looks like to much though to me that your using and no idea how that's going to be all used together in 1 day? Is this all being applied/taken in morning?

Finastride - your saying there is another alternative version I could try if not the tablet version?

I'm just saying to cut a Finasteride pill in half. That's all.

You don't have to spend a lot of money, and get topical products.

Keep using Kirkland Minoxidil. I really don't know if the brand matters, for the most part.

Just take a quarter or half the Finasteride dose (.5 milligrams, or even .25 milligrams). It's better than not
taking it at all, for your hair.

My cousin makes LOTS of money in the salon business. He does women and men's hair, and you
have to be skilled to do both, I think, to some degree.

He goes to vacations to Mexico, and other countries. And let me say this, most people in the hair
industry make the minimum to afford a small apartment, not a house.

He told me he NEVER saw any man taking Minoxidil keep their hair (from Minoxidil alone). Never. But he
has seen guys using both at Norwood zero, and he didn't even know they were balding.

Only a small percentage of his clients had side effects from Finasteride. One did have PFS, and he was a medical
doctor.

So, I think Minoxidil will help your hair, but PERMANENT results will only be maintained if you add an
anti androgen to your medications.

Ok so your saying you have to add in Finastride but a smaller dose of it is enough.

It just has so many bad reviews always related to sexual matters.

Just find the dose that's right for you.

The Finasteride half life is between 4 - 7 hours, probably near four for younger men
than older men (because our kidneys and liver get worse with age).

Keep using Minoxidil. Finasteride will just make your Minoxidil gains permanent.

But then the big thing with Finastride is, if you take this then your stuck on it for life. Once you stop, the shedding is supposed to be more agressive.

What do you mean by "half life" you mean how long it actually does something for your hair?

How long half of it stays in your body. One milligram will become 0.5 milligrams
in four hours, for some men, then .25, .125, etc.

How fast our body gets rid of it.
