You said "2% once a day are useless". That's just wrong. 5% are certainly better (one or twice daily) but 2% are not useless.

This is what I said "rendering 2% all but useless"

In English this does not mean "is useless", it means nearly useless or almost useless.

Let's not get into along disccussion over slight differences in the English language (my native tounge).

My final post, we will have to disagree on what we think is correct.
