need advice about my dose (0.5mg of Propecia)

hi guys,
here is my regime
0.5mg of Propecia (merck)
2x 1mg of kirkland Min

i have been on finasteride for nearly 7 months (at half dose) and have been on Min for 2 years, i have seen some regrowth on min since starting two years ago,
but since been on finasteride, i have not noticed anything at all,
i did not get any shedding (i dont think) at worse i think i lost maybe 15-20 hairs.....

my question to you guys would be
1. has any one got good results from half a dose?
2. should i up my dose to 1mg? and how much effective is the full 1mg dose...

thanks for the reply,
started minoxidil roughly 2 years ago, and started finasteride @ 0.5mg 7 months ago,
saw some regrowth on minoxidil but have not seen anything since starting the finasteride,
is it just too early to tell,
thought i would give it to the end of the year on half dose and if nothing changes or do not have any signs of the finasteride benefiting i think i should up the dose to a full 1mg....

just wanted some input from 0.5mg finasteride users and their experiences with the half dose...

even if i see a slight improvement on .5mg would be very happy

I always used the 1mg (or 1.25 mg) and have had terrific results. Try to get a prescription for proscar and get the generic, it's $27 for 90 five MG pills at Walmart without insurance, that's a years supply when cut in 1/4's

thanks HT55 for the feedback,
but i live in the UK and would not know where to get Gen finasteride from,
i currently get 1 months of Propecia for £30 which is around $48

i am not worried about the money, its the sides that i am worried about,
but been on .5mg for 7 months with no sides, would 1mg be much different
