he will. guaranteed. Just hope if he addressed it before, he'll include a link to the post instead of saying "I posted it about a year ago. Why did you not read it?"

Damn, I just HATE to be so predictable! :D

Dr. Proctor and his products have been around for years and years. They're legit, although they're also rather pricey. His stuff is famous for addressing hairloss in ways that aren't used anywhere else, like those "turbocharged" SODs like PBN and TEMPO/TEMPOL. He's also famous for his use of phenytoin and NANO. He was the first to use SOD mimetics like copper-peptides.

If you can afford to use them, they're fine. If money is an issue, you might want to try other, cheaper products first, and keep the Proxiphen products in reserve as a last resort.

These products are considered to be a 'light' version of the ones from http://www.drproctor.com . But no one really knows, i recently started prox-n, but i went for his original products just for peace of mind

Prox-N is more effective than NANO Shampoo, according to Dr. Proctor. NANO Shampoo was only intended by Dr. Proctor to be a simple way for his patients to get a little extra NANO onto their scalps (more than what's contained in just Proxiphen or Prox-N).

thanx bryan, goingat20,

i will give it a try even though it is expensive. i checked the NANO shampoo it says that it contains nitric oxide i am not sure how much beneficial this will be.

another thing that grabed my attention is that minoxidil is not longer need perscription why dr proctor requires perscription for it.

anyway i will start it in about 10 days and i will keep you updated.

dr proctors products

The last one has minoxidil, spironolactone, copper peptides, and other stuff for $100 per month plus a prescription. It does not look like snake oil, but I think I can do just as good if not better from a combination of other sources for less money.

NANO is a minoxidil-like growth stimulant.

Regular Proxiphen is still prescription because it contains the drugs phenytoin, spironolactone, and Retin-A, which are prescription only.

So you're trying Prox-N, rather than Proxiphen?

BTW, you said something in a previous post about "seeing results". I hope you understand that "results" from ANY hairloss regimen can be quite subtle, and may only be noticeable by directly comparing before-and-after pictures. I hope that you give anything you try a fair shake by taking pictures before you start.

Like the other poster said, the other Websites that sell his products are generally thought to put out "lite" versions, although there's been some question about whether or not that's actually true. In any event, even Dr. Proctor admits that they're probably even better deals for the money than the (supposedly) stronger versions that HE sells!

I wasn't referring to the supposedly "lite" versions of Dr. Proctor's products that are sold by the other sites (if that's what you mean), I was referring to the attempts by individuals who read hairloss forums to imitate Proxiphen by trying to mix their own drugs to produce what they THINK is their own homemade version of it! I'm saying that their level of success at that attempt is rather questionable!

25 for shipping????

wow. he makes money on shipping. and charges $100 for a prescription.

Too late for me to have before pictures taken. I have 1300 grafts that will start growing out in another 6 weeks, and 1900 that will be maturing over the next 6 months, in the front of my head. I could still take pictures of the top of my head. Or better yet, buzz my head on the lowest setting, let it grow a month, buzz again, weight it, and repeat in 6 months. Anyone think that is a good idea? Not for me!

It, as well as everything else in this world, is worth exactly what someone will pay for it. No more and no less.

yeah i am using Prox-N and NANO rather than Proxiphen, why you sound suprised is it useless?? i am not trying to be picky here i am just making sure that i get as much info as i can as i am spending this amount of money.

and yeah i will have before and after pics and i will post them.

another thing i know it says in his website that i can apply it once or twice a day what do u recommend and how long should it stay on the scalp. i put Gel on my hair before i stayle it so does affect it???
