Yeah nothing really new with that article. Same old "treatments aren't worth it", "I want a woman that won't judge me because of my hair loss"... It's good that he is really saying screw it and moving on, but saying that is pretty much giving up on your looks which I personally find unacceptable.

Sadly no woman is going to notice him. It's fine if he has accepted his hair loss but shouldn't be misleading people, Vin Diesel e.t.c. The other person he mentioned in that article, Shane Warne is a sportsman who I know about. He dealt with his hair and said screw what others think, recently went out with Liz Hurley.

lmao this article wasn't written for people going for bald it was written so people who have no idea what aggressively balding at a young age is like can point to it and go "be a man and just shave it! your psychological problems aren't real you idiot!"

The author also has no idea what its like for people with aggressive balding at a young age. he said he didnt even NOTICE his balding until he's 30... cmon! i'm a NW5 at 22 years old. i'd look as old as he does if i had grey hair like him. the fact is people DO treat you differently if you are balding, more so if you are young, so shaving is NOT a one size fits all solution. my interactions with women significantly declined when i lost my hair. no 22 year old woman wants to be with a guy who looks like he's 35 but has none of the benefits of being older. people think it's fine to poke fun at you for being bald because of how the media portrays it as being ok to discriminate against bald men. you're basically the butt of a bunch of jokes over a problem you can't even control (imagine the response if the media suddenly decided it's ok to make fun of women who lost their tits to breast cancer...)

he thinks pointing to vin diesel and bruce willis proves something? yes they look good bald, but like 90%+ of men will not look as good as they do bald because they don't have the strong facial features, the charisma, or the bodies that they do. that's such a trope at this point that i shouldnt even have to explain this.

Accepting your doom. Sounds like a good argument for why someone would want to be bald. Choosing to accept it has always been an option but why are we here if dont care? How does his opinion change mine that I want my hair instead? If your badly balding though given current treatments you cant do anything anyways so its kind of the default choice. If he could take a pill with no sides and wake up Norwood 1 again I bet he would.
