I trust the more experienced learned posters on this board a hell of aot more than I would any f-ucking quack and that includes dermatologists, hair transplant surgeons and of course the worst of all "the GP" they are all just f-ucking useless... They are not passionate about hairloss like we are. Its there job, but most of them have biased opinions or are dumb as s-hit, don't really give a s-hit, money hungry or just plain lazy. You want anything done in this world you gotta do it yourself. Necessity is the mother of invention. So I say people on this site should unite to come up with a cure for this hairloss bulls-hit. Im tired of waiting for others to come up with solutions when they dont have the passion or "necessity" for it, its like watching paint dry..

That's because male pattern baldness isn't an illness.

It effects around 75% of the male population at some point in their lives. It's like going to a GP and asking them to cure your grey hair or wrinkles.

You need to see a therapist for your problem.

What problem? My turrets? :$

But common dude, you gotta agree, doctors are pretty useless, most of the time they are misinformed or have out of date information regarding hairloss.

1.There is no such thing as up-to-date information when it comes to treating male pattern baldness.

2.Doctor's have more important, life-threatening diseases to treat in other patients that require the majority of their research and continuing education time.

Sorry to tell you this, buddy, but the person with diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, obesity and significant family history of myocardial infarction or ischemic stroke is a far more important patient than yourself and worthy of keeping up with treatment options. Regardless of whether you think your male pattern baldness is important or not.

I'm pretty sure metalheaddude was talking about hair transplant surgeon or Derms in which case they wouldn't be treating any of the life threatening diseases listed above, or at least I hope not. And I'd imagine that hairloss would be some what of a priority to a hair transplant surgeon, and he's right they should be more informed. Only a very few seem to be interested in actually figuring out the ins and outs of hairloss and how to stop it. The rest are a bunch of hookers.

Again, there is no such thing as being informed when it comes to male pattern baldness. There are many diseases that cause hair loss that can be identified by a practicing medical professional, but for the most part, male pattern baldness is of little concern to the medical community.

I for one am happy that they are busy treating folks with actual illness.

You want anything done in this world you gotta do it yourself. Necessity is the mother of invention. So I say people on this site should unite to come up with a cure for this hairloss bulls-hit.

I'm sure you could scrounge up $200, maybe $300 from the board's membership!

Then don't spend your time waiting, because you're right - it ain't coming any time soon. You're just wasting your own time. There is no "necessity" to cure male pattern baldness.
