so they had 1 person for each treatment? I hope not. That's not an accurate way to judge results.

It seems the minoxidil only user was very disappointed.

I dont see the point of this story that MSNBC did. They only did it with 5 people that was using different type of treatment. It's a waste of time for them to do a story when tested on 5 people. Not one drugs works on everyone. Which is why when scientist do test they use 100s to 1000s of people.

Because WE know that. We have learned from these forums what true studies take.

The general public has zero clue. So what NBC did was BS but caused some ratings.

I think this NBC thing caused the lasercomb people to start a spam campaign. HLH has issued a warning to one person over there. I just saw 2 posts from a brand new user here that is complete SPAM. You can see it over at the "hair care and cosmetic options " forum over in the womens area. The funny thing is I also saw this user over at another hairloss site with the identical advertisment in three differnt forums over there...He also only has 3 posts to his name there. Maybe I'm just being paranoid :hairy:

They had the 1 year follow up last night

THEY HAD THE 1 YEAR FOLLOW UP LAST NIGHT

The guy with the transplant looked the best. He had great growth. He had 1900 grafts.

The guy on Viviscal (some4 fish pill from Finland) maintained.

The guy on propecia looked a little better.

The guy on propecia and minoxidil looked like he had some good regrowth.

The guy with the lasercomb, I think showed good results. The doctor who re-examined everyone siad there was some regrowth (at least I think that's what he said.) on the lasercomb guy.

It was on Dateline NBC last night
