Naturally Thin Temple Hairs

First off, I'd like to apologize for not posting any pictures. I am not comfortable sharing pictures online.

I first noticed that I had thinning temple hairs around 3 years ago after I got a new hairstyle. I started taking more natural supplements such as biotin, niacin and didn't really see any results. After 1.5 years, it didn't get any worse, but I decided to get on minoxidil. I experienced a light shed and then temple regrowth, but thinner hair that could grow long. After about a year, the hairs were still there with no additional regrowth.

Roughly 6 months ago, I decided to hop on finasteride because I wanted those thinner hairs to turn terminal or thicker. I didn't experience any shedding or sides from finasteride, but I also didn't experience any additional regrowth.

Last night I stumbled upon pictures of myself from between 7 to 9 years ago (I'm 30 now) and I realized that I've always had thinner temple hairs, but it was never really noticeable because of my longer haircut. I would say that I'm currently a NW1.5 on my left temple but NW1 on my right, however, both temples have thinner hairs along the temple that if they fell out, would put me at a NW2. I also realized that my initial regrowth from minoxidil was most likely from the initial shed I experienced as my hairline as well as density is the exact same as it was 7-9 year ago.

Is it possible that I just have thinner hairs naturally along my temples?

I have no issues applying minoxidil or taking finasteride, I've experience no sides from either aside from the initial shedding from minoxidil. If I'm being honest, I'm asking this mostly because I want to keep my expectations real about thickening my temple hairs.

I'm also unsure about where I stand with hair loss because of my recent discovery.

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Block your face out because questions like these are hard to answer without a picture.

Either way you are on propecia and minoxidil so if you do have male pattern baldness your already ahead of the game.
