Hello,
I have heard some people talk about natural oils secreted by the scalp and how it is useful to the hair. Do any of you know what these natural oils are and whether they are helpful for hair growth or not?
Sebum is a mixture of various lipids which is secreted by the sebaceous glands onto the surface of the skin/scalp. Sebum isn't "useful" or "helpful" for either hair follicles or the hair itself. Kligman considers sebaceous glands to be "living fossils" which lost their usefulness to our species eons ago.
VWdude you must have clicked over to regrow.com and noticed that the SBO spammers where at work It didn't matter what question was asked, they always sought to interject SBO whenver they could. So, I'm seeing you doing a similar thing though in fun with the Emu Oil
