Wow! In one fell swoop, you found not only that post in which he stated the possible synergism between NANO and minoxidil, but also the one in which he stated that NANO may have a spin label type of activity (PBN-like). That's another thing I vaguely recalled his saying in the past, but didn't know where to find it. Good going, Old Baldy! :)

Yes, I would say that NANO is a very interesting substance, for all these reasons.

Uhh. I've been using Proctor's products for a few months and I've just started yet another bottle of nano shampoo, which came a few days ago. And I'm shocked. The density of this shampoo change drastically and now it's almost as thin as a water. It lathers much worse than before. I'm really disappointed. I needed really a lot to actually wash my hair. It feels like it was thinned down with water or so... I really liked its former density.

I will write to Dr Proctor in a moment about it.

Has it happened to anyone else? I've used around 4-5 bottles so far, and the density of the shampoo of each of tehm was the same (pretty high)

:(

Where are you ordering from? Dr. P's website or lef.org?

Always from him directly. He has already answered, that it's due to the fact, that they "periodically change the formulation". I don't like it though...

I'm using the lef NANO lite (not purchased from lef.org though) and it has a really thin consistency too. I wonder if the lite version used to be thicker as well?

Same problem with Nano, 1st bottle I bought was thicker, it didn't lather a lot, but it was OK. Next one watery, and near no lather at all. I remember Bryan posting that good lathering doesn't mean therapeutic benefit, or something along these lines. I still use it, but if Revita gets good reviews, I will probably use it instead both Nizoral and Nano. BTW, people complain about Revita's price tag. But in the UK, plain 2% Nizoral costs 7£x100ml . Revita will be 16£x200 ml at http://www.skinlight.co.uk

I like NANO. Best hair thickening shampoo for short hair on the planet. I say for short hair just because it makes my hair a weird sort of curly when long. For regrowth - who knows. I use it alongside proxiphen and dutasteride/finasteride.

My hairloss over the last year or so has pretty much stabilised.

ive been cutting back to every second day or so with proxiphen, or even less, out of laziness. My hair loss hasnt really changed. Since ive been on proxiphen nearly a year, i can apparently just use it every second day. Im going to start using prox-n in between proxiphen days. Maybe throw in some rogaine foam, depending on what i decide to do with dutasteride and finasteride.

I probably will (and should) get abused for my irresponsible use of the drugs, but i sorta cycle between finasteride and dutasteride, depending on some strange side effects they give me. Ive been on finasteride .5mg for up to a few months at a time, and the same with dutasteride once a week. Sometimes i change every few weeks.

Thanks for the update felk, maybe i need something strong like proxiphen. Do you use it straight after shower on a hydrated scalp?

Hey mate, how are things going for you these days? Sad to hear the hair loss is still progressing - you've thrown everything at it i swear, maybe something else is causing it. Have you tried rogaine foam twice a day?

Ive got 2 boxes of eucapil i never used, if you're ever round sydney i could send them to you, hehe.

Sorry i havent updated in so long, im now studying med, so ive been strapped for time at the moment. Good to see you, cassin, old baldy all helping everyone out still. And im very pleased to see that Bryan the king of hair loss knowledge himself is still around.

I dont always use proxpihen on a hydrated scalp. I used to every day, these days its more every once in a while, otherwise dry scalp. Though im pretty sure my finasteride and dutasteride are what is mainly doing it for me.

Same here... But I will give it a try for a few more months... I started with everything at once, shampoo, conditioner and prescription proxiphen.

Your studying med, thats awesome!! Goodluck with it! Im going to keep trying to at least slow my hair loss, dont want to give up just yet. Im using minoxidil 12.5%, im thinking that is more effective that rogain foam. Anyway i might look into proxiphen...

I'm not sure how much of my regrowth is coming from Nano and how much from dutasteride, but I use Nano 4x a week and Revita 5x a week along with the dutasteride. I plan on sticking with this till August, when I will add the Rogaine foam twice a day to complete my regimen for awhile.
