Multivitamins from grocery stores are barely worth taking, there will be little difference between the brands, they all will have something like 60mg of C in the form of ascorbic acid and at a level set to prevent scurvey for god sake!, a shitty set of E vitamins (non-mixed tocopherols), some crap minerals, copper and zinc (both antagonists to ach other) at non-balanced levels and quite possibly some mother f*****g aspartame or some other nutrient robbing sweetener, I could go on but I have got myself all worked up.
As a pointer, the RDA of vitamin C is set at 60mg (in the UK), 3,000 - 10,000 mg are typical therapeutic levels, I take 5,000 mg a day.
People approach vitamins like someone approaching hair loss and deciding to pick up a bottle of 'Safeways own brand special hair health shampoo' and hoping for the best, save your money and buy some fresh fruit and vegetables as most grocery store multivitamins are confectionary designed to make money not health, they probably spent more money on the 6 colour printed label than they did sourcing a good quality bio-available B6.
