Nail growth rate correlated with hair growth rate?

I was just curious if there is any correlation between nail growth rate and hair growth rate.
Also, how often do you all cut your fingernails? Mine grows super fast and strong, but my hair doesn't seem to follow that

Haha, I would say NO, they are not related. In fact, I suffered a little accident while using a drill about 4 months ago that ripped my thumbnail completely off. That hurt like hell. I went to the doctor and he said it would take about a year for my finger nail to grow back, IF it was able to grow back at all. The drill did a number on my finger and it looked pretty narly at the time.

Here we are 4 months later and my finger nail has already grown all the way back, much faster than I expected. Meanwhile my hair continues to fall out.
