Ok this isn't about whether or not it works or how to increase its effectiveness. This is about usage tips, I love this stuff purely as a styling product!
I currently just use nizoral and Tricomin. I have diffuse thinning in its early stages so I want to use milder products for now, and move on to minoxidil etc if I need to later. I chose Tricomin because the concept seems sound, the tests show it is as effective as minoxidil 2%, and from what I read it seemed a better choice than Folligen.
After I shower I towel dry my hair well but it is still slightly damp. I part my hair in the required places and spray 5 to 6 sprays of Tricomin, trying to hit my scalp as much as possible. I also rub a little into my hairline (and if any is dripping down I try to "catch" it and spread it into my hairline). I then use my 3 middle fingers on both hands to gently spread and massage throughout the top of my head for 15 - 30 seconds. By the time this is done I feel like I have good coverage of the solution through my scalp, but my hair is now sporting an extremely "wet look", which obviously looks terrible for a diffuse thinner. Using a very fine comb I comb from back to front rigorously, which also should help to spread the Tricomin and give a kind of stimulating effect to the scalp. It also separates the hairs as finely as possible. I leave it for a few minutes, then I dry it very slowly by standing over a radiator or heater and constantly ruffling my hair. This produces a full, voluminous look to my hair without any other styling products needed! It looks great!
Now let's just hope this stuff works!
