My Sister Is Going Bald Is This A Death Sentence For Me?

Hello everyone, I hadn’t seen my sister in almost a year and when she came back to visit us I noticed the hair on her scalp was thinning and had changed from the year before. I told her to see a hair specialist and explained I was starting to get scared about my own hair so I knew what to be looking out for.

Turns out I was right and she does have female pattern baldness, we’ve caught it relatively early (although she’s only 25) so she should be fine but I just wanted to know if my sister having it is a death sentence hair wise for me? I ask this since it seems less likely for women to get it in the family and if she does it seems like an inevtibility for me.
Thoughts?

Thanks

Depends, what’s your family history like hair wise on your mom’s side? (male pattern baldness is typically linked to mother’s side the family)

Never ever seen or heard of a female experiencing natural hairloss that early before.

Yeah it is very early, her lifestyle may not have been the best but it wouldn’t warrant this. She’s on treatment now though so fingers crossed she’ll keep her hair
