My side effects on finasteride...

~ Month 5 - 0.5mg ED - Nizoral once ever 3-4 days

-Major shedding
-Seemingly losing ground on hairline that is VERY NOTICEABLE to me
-More angry, more irritable, more easily frustrated
-No change in sex drive--maybe even more horny than before finasteride
-Possible extremely slight gyno in left nipple (NOTE: may have existed before finasteride)
-Skin seems to have cleared up a bit
-Less nervous/more calm most of the time. Read below.

No noticeable change in my physical body. I've always been a hard-gainer whose weight fluctuates a lot and still seem to be. Only get "nervously jumpy" and/or have "brain fog" when I'm tired/not well-rested. I honestly don't believe in "brain-fog."

I went through a number of sheds and regrowth during the first year. Things looked the best for me around month 8. Maybe even better than now at 1.5yrs.

Try 1mg ED. I know there are studies to suggest it makes no difference, but in terms of shedding it made loads of difference to me.
