MY SCAPLE!

been on 5% for one year 10 months. 15 % for `10 months. and fincar for one month. i use 5% at night and 15 in the morning. now for some reason ever since i started fincar my scaple is so tender. like i can almost cut it open wiht my finger nail. and i flake like crazy too. shedding about 20-50 a day. and i also use nizoral 3 times a week for the past year and half. anyoen scaple started to basically hurt? or flake like crazy after finasteride? and what did you do about it?

You need to use Nizoral 2%. Flaking with minoxidil is quite common among the posters here. They use Nizoral to combat this!

I had the same problem.
T/Gel, T-Sal, Tricomin, and Nizoral are your friends.
I'm only using Nizoral 1%.

BTW, I believe the word is "scalp", not "scaple".

yea i caught that when i was looking for this topic "scalp" sorry it was late but i have been using 2% for the past year and half....but the main question is did anyone started to flake or have a tender scalp after finasteride use?
