My regimen is nizoral, minoxidil, finasteride 1mg daily, biotin daily, regenepure shampoo daily. i think it worked on delaying my hairloss for the past 2 years but im losing the fight. should i switch to dutasteride? and anyone who switched to dutasteride, did it seem to do better than finasteride? im uploading a pic of my top and sides to give you an idea of my hairloss pattern. 2015-01-02_15.14.03.jpg20150102_151142.jpg2015-01-02_15.14.37.jpg

I recently shaved it really short to assess the damage. i usually have it an inch long on top and super sort on the sides. i edited out my earlobes cause i have distinctive ear piercings that could be recognizable

So you are saying that you are continuing to lose hair, or you aren't growing any back. If it has been two years and you are continuing to lose hair then I would say you should give dutasteride a try. Just my opinion, of course ask your dr. first.

Your regimen seems fine, here's what I suggest:

+Continue with Minoxidil, it's good for hair growth.
+Discontinue using Nizoral and use Regenepure DR, it's a much better Ketoconazole shampoo.
+Finasteride is great for treating Androgenetic Alopecia, switch to Dutasteride for better maintenance if you're really still losing hair.
+Biotin is good for your hair, just keep in mind that it won't do anything to treat Androgenetic Alopecia related problems.

I hope all goes well. :)

How old are you? your hair isn't that bad right now, give finasteride more time. If finasteride isn't working in a few months then dutasteride is more likely to work but you never know, after that the only thing left to try is RU

i am using nizoral and regenepure, is there harm in using both? and i am 25, ive been on finasteride for 2 years so i think any benefits i got from finasteride was probably slowing it down. u can tell by my hairline that its an uphill battle no pun intended. im also a diffuse thinner on top of that

You have a perfect head of hair, almost zero hairloss.

far from it. im a diffuse thinner that keep my hair short so its not noticeable yet. 4 years of minoxidil and 2 years of finasteride did delay my hairloss and i think its buying me some years tho
