Ok homies-

Guess what I'm 2 and a half months into treatment! Things are looking slightly better! At least, not any worse. I feel my results would have been better if I hadn't cut the sh*t out of my head last month (for the whole story check out my last post in the "my Story" forum).

This is the only problem:

I've developed some massive itching in the male pattern baldness "zone". Not good. Does this mean I have increased shedding heading my way? Or is it because of the scar and related inflammation (this area is the worst)? Anyways, I'm on nizoral and Tsal and when i wash with nizoral the itch goes away for a while, but it comes back within half a day or so. Any suggestions or insights are welcome!

Try checking out T/Gel anti-itch shampoo and adding copper peptides to your regimen. Since you are already highly itchy, I would stay away from Folligen. Pick one of the others.

I doubt it means you have a shed coming. It's more than likely you are just severely dried out and you are getting local irritation. Limit the Nizoral to 2 times per week instead of 3.

What is often overlooked too, is that a great conditioner containing an aloe vera will help you immensely.

exactly, I have always had itchy scalp and dandruff, ONLY in the area where i am losing my hair.

Always, for the last 7 years.

Never used minoxidil though, but im thining of starting it, but im not sure if my itch will increase with the rogaine.

im currently using a herbal anti dandruff shampoo and it works fine, the problem is that on the days when i dont wash it, i get itch and dandruff again.

I dont wash my hair everyday.

im looking for an anti dandruff and anti itchy topical.
