First of all sorry for my poor and bad english.

Since i was 18 i been afraid of getting bald, now im 37 and still afraid but when I look back i think - oh my gud - i have so much hair when I was 18.

But after I was 18 I started to go to laser, tried minoxodil and pay so much money that I see now I didnt need.

All the time I was afraid to get bald - and yes i saw all the time the skin throw the hair - I look in the mirror all the time to see.

Ok when I was around 32 I started with Propecia. I started and after a time i think it was ok again, i quit with Propecia - some month later my hair feel bad again. - I started again with propecia. so im be doing that until now.

Now im 37 and take propecia.

And in the beginning I loss so much hair, over the entire head.

Its that normal?

What i dont like is that i have a hair whirl that I feel shine - you see the skin there and sometimes its red and shine like a spot.

What should you about that?

Is it possible to do a hairreplacement, or is to small?

its like maximum 1 centimetre.

Is it possible to make a hair surgery even where you have hair?

When I went to a hairline clinic for a free look she said that im not having a problem at all.

But I see problems, so could be something else?

What do you think I should do?

37 GOOD AGE

To have decent hair at 37 is pretty awesome. BTW your link to your photo, well theres no photo. About your hair swirl, look man if thats the most of your worries then your lucky. I have a pretty big hair whirl in my vertex that I asked my dermatologist about and he sent me home stating its perfectly natural for a hair swirl to be a bit thinner than other areas or your scalp. He said do homework and look at other mens, childrens and teens even women have this weird hair whirl thing going on which does exose the scalp a bit in the vertex area. What I do is comb my hair back there in such a way that its less prominant. The same way my wife does, she combs here thick hair back so its invisible, however when she comps it to the side or puts it in a french braid, wammo! there it is. Im going to be 41 soon and I am fightin to hang on to my hair..so now I need to convince my doctor I want temple restoration. Good Luck.

i've seen your pictures.

where is your hair loss?

you look like you have naturally thinner hair, and it's quite light/fair so it will appear thinner anyway.

if you're convinced its thinned, then I'd just stay on propecia & nizoral. I don't know where you would apply the minoxidil, and it seems overkill. Surgery is a crazy idea !!

You have no problem

I see a natural hair part and swirl. When I was my twenties I had that same kinda of part that i couldnt stand. I completey shaved my head and retrained my hair as to get away from that part look cause it wasnt a popular look back then. But honestly, I dont think you have a problem. Do a google search on hair swirls and you'll see its natural.

Is that normal and how long will it take before regrowth?

I started in Januari 2007.

Hair thins with age

I couldnt tell you how long it will take you to see thicker hair after propecia. I have never been on a topical or hair restoration prescription and have been stuck a NW2 for the last ten years. I am seriously considerina temple transplants soon. I am going to be 41 soon and my temples are bothersome to me.

I've been taking Propecia since 2002. I was about 34 then, and I did not see results for about four - five months.

I started the big3 as of xmas of last year, and it's really making a difference. I think half of the gain is just from my current hair having more volume.

Klink that looks really good. I think maybe use a tad bit of Toppik or something on top. I use it for my temples every now and again it works pretty good.

Dan,
If you are 41 and your temples are the only thing bothering you maybe it would be a good choice to get a transplant on the temples considering the fact that your hair is pretty much about as far as it will go.

Pologuy I sure hope so. I am off to see another doctor in may. I usually love to keep my hair short but when its short on top it looks like a "u" Hopefully this doctor will do it. I am able to pull my hair somwhat down to conceal my temples, but it doesnt look natural for some reason. Hee hee!

I think my hair is so thin in the front - i really dont find my self in the Norwood scale so what type of hairloss do you think this is and what can I do?

The problem is that i think i loss more hair when using Propecia and using a Baxter schampoo who they say help with DHT - but I hear somewhere that they are not good together.

what do you say.

I say (no budget approach):

Propecia 1x a day
Foam 2x a day
Revita Shampoo 5x a week
MSM 2x a day
Vitamin C 1x a day
-----------------------------------
If you read up on this stuff, basically we are fixing our thin hair, and the lost hair. So once you start using stuff, your existing hair can look better. Hair grows at the rate of 1/2 inch per month, plus or minus depending on your hair. So it will be a while before you will grow new hair. I take MSM because I think it makes my hair grow fast, like an inch a month.
------------------------------------
Don't bother with shampoos that don't have nizoral/Ket, otherwise it's purely cosmetic.

Dan my crown has some regrown hair, it's better in person, it actually looks all covered up. If I style it forward, it looks great. If I try to comb back you can see that part of the crown is thinner. But the spot is closing up. I don't need toppik, I had a big bald spot for five years so I'm super happy right now.

I use one that have 2ml ket. Can i use that instead of Revita?
Or have revita something else?

On Revita they said 5 * times a week - is that recommended for all ket scahmpoos?
