Stick with Propecia for at least a year, and then you may start worrying.

Chujgcha, did your hair filled in the visible scalp? for example, visible like jasons to the point that the thinning wasnt't noticing. I have the exact same visible scalp appearance that jason has but i'm a 1.5 Norwood with a mix of diffuse but more noticible in the exact area of mid frontal and center and a little diffuse on the crown also. something similar to the Female pattern. I know one can't expect much on a slick bald area but i'm not slick bald and my noticiblehair loss was recent. If propecia is effective on me can it fill in those visible hair loss? a 20% fill in would do the job

I didn't start to make progress untill around 5 months into propecia / minoxidil.

Stick with in, stop looking closely at your hair, drink more beer.

To the OP, where in the norwood scale did you HONESTLY start? Was your basic hairline approximately the same, albeit thicker? Since there are no comparison pictures it's impossible to tell the nature of the change.
