My Ongoing Scalp Issues. Any Advice Welcome

So ive been struggling with scalp issues now for a while. I get the itch ppl tlak about but where i tend to get itchy is always sore raised spot like things on scalp. They are painful and feel like a bad zit. Ive taken a photo below of one if these. Its not a great photo but its best i could do with the phone above my head.

I know hairloss usually involves scalp irritation and many of you have it. Just wondered if its normal to get these painful raised lumps? Is this a scalp condition or just spots on the scalp? I know ppl here talk of folliculitus, psoarisis etc and ive no idea what they look like so if this looks like anything like that let me know. As a side note (probably not related) i am hypothyroid so i have shitty hair, nails and skin normally on othr areas of body but usually its dry skin and not this. An example of this is my legs which below the knee have almost went bald and skin is scaley and thin. Anyways advice welcome!



Also any advice on treatment is welcome too. Ive started to use coal tar shampoo which i feel helps, i use nizoral once or twice a week and ive also started castor oil twice a week.

Anyone?? Since learned its folliculitis. Is this normal and will go away or what should i do?

You can chase after random issues like itching, scalp acne, and whatever else like dandruff forever. In the end are you losing hair or not? If you are treat it as hair loss. If there is an itch treat it as dandruff or seb derm as an itch. Dont try to link everything together because no one knows if its all linked or not.
