I'm 34. Been on this for around 7 years:
-- Proscar broken into 4ths
-- 5% minoxidil (non-generic, which i find to be more oily and stays on scalp longer)
-- Tricomin
-- Nizoral (three years)
Has worked *really* well. Maintained my norwood I/II hairline. filled in crown and vertex. until recently most people didn't really think of me as somebody who's really "losing their hair"
BUT...
The fading in effectiveness thing is starting to catch up with me, particularly in the frontal hairline. Started adding Dutas one day a week (i know, that's hardly enough to do anything, but, well, i'm scared to give up the proscar and don't want to use both full bore...).
So now i'm at that common point on these forums: What next after the proven treatments? MSM? Biotin? Mixing up my own green tea extract topical? Add another shampoo?
Really, any help appreciated. I don't want to go too experimental, want to add the smartest 1, 2 or 3 things I can to try and stimulate some regrowth, if that's possible
Best,
JC
