What is so funny about me trying to keep my hair?I mean Im obviously losing it.200-250 hairs a day is a “normal shed” right?

I want to stay nice,and I will stay nice to everyone.1st off my father started balding at 19,my brother started balding at 19 and now he is on a path to become bald(he is 23),these are pictures after regrowth,i can post one picture before if you want to so you will see what im talking about.
2nd of all I am not a pussy,these sides are annoying because i have to study.How can headache dizzines and hot face and sore throath be fake,Ive never said anything against finasteride so I am not faking it.

Here is an answer to all these “internet specialists” or should i say f*****g morons.I went to the doctor and that wasnt a cold or fever,it was actually caused by a change of hormones in my body.The good thing is that it only lasted for a week and im good now.

Your doctor is hypothesizing. There is no medical or even widespread anecdotal data to back that up.

Hey bud. There are a lot of nay sayers here. Just ignore them. I like that you chose to stay respectable. Good move.

If you aren't having sexual sides on finasteride, thats great. Keep with it, but I would recommend having your hormones monitored at least one while your on it.

From what I've heard,finasteride causes small,thin,miniaturized hairs to shed. They'll eventually grow stronger and longer

I still feel that you don't have hairloss and by adding minoxidil and finasteride you're damaging your hair. Are you really sure that the clinic you went in wasn't just trying to sell you minoxidil and finasteride?? I doubt that they conducted a miniaturization test .

In the crown,you cant really see it on the picture but if i dont comb my hair over there is a line where i lost my hair

I fully understand you.But if i can keep what i have now why not going all in?Im going to drop finasteride for a week and I will see if my shedding continues.Its something like that,but its headed towards mid scalp,not to back of the head.

If you don't have hairloss,then the big 3 will cause unnecessary shedding of hairs that weren't supposed to shed this early. It is really shitty to just wait around to check whether you're losing your hair or not,but trust me,wait it out. You may thin out a lot and that may not be worth with the large amount of hair that you've got now. Still,ask for some veteran members opinions as well. @DoctorHouse

Back on finasteride 1.25mg every other day.My SD got better and shedding got worse just like overall hair quality so I started taking finasteride again,I will report in a week or so if anything has gotten better.

I sincerely doubt that things change "weekly" while you're on finasteride.
