My hairline is getting pretty severe now...

I've been taking regaine extra strength, the spray kind, for about a month now in a desperate attempt to reverse, or at least halt a receding hairline. However the receding has increased dramatcially since I started using. I know hairloss is a common side effect, and might actually be a sign it's working but how long does this hairloss go on for? Is a month too long? Should I just give up and stop or should I perservere? My hairline is getting pretty severe now. I dont want to carry on is it will just make things worse but I also dont want to stop too early. I need help.
I'm only 25.

If you're comfortable with taking finasteride just use that. It pretty much stops balding or at least makes it a lot lot slower.
