Hey guys, Just wanted to post and vent My insecurities, I am 30 years old and my hairline has been buggering off for the last 8 years slowly but after I have decided after long painstakingly agonizing over it to finally jump this sinking ship and chop what's left of it off but what I wanted to know was, for the last 8 years it's been slow goings on the receding front, but since I started going to the gym 6 months ago (more over the last 3 months) It's kicked into overdrive it went from being receding to noticeably thinning in three months is that normal to speed up like that? or could it be a sign of something else up(This is the denial kicking in), even my last haircut about a month ago was noticeable but now it's clearly thinning now it's not reached bald patch level yet but it's really kicking me in the confident department, sorry bout the rant just needed to vent and spill it out somewhere

Thats how it happens man, its the unpredictable nature of male pattern baldness. Get on finasteride if you want to keep ur hair. And yeah, it is normal to thin that fast.

By age 35 two-thirds of men are balding. I very rarely see a chap 30+ with zero hair loss.

Gotta catch it early my friend!
