i started avodart 5 weeks ago and still not seeing anything positive ,i noticed you started in dec 2006 ,how are you doing with it?

well in combination with Rogaine foam and Nizoral, since taking dutasteride my hair-line has stopped receding and my temples are filling in quite nicely.

It's a good drug if you want to completely halt your hair-loss and I've been taking it since last year and I have no side effects what-so-ever.

Also I would probably classify myself as a norwood 2.2-5 before treatment.

really???? yea ive heard plenty about it....what is the company named drug for this called besides dutasteride? avodart? is this even classified as a hair loss drug? this doesnt have any sexual side effects??

It's apparently now back into phaseIII trials for FDA for hair-loss.

Anyone thinking about dutasteride please read the patrick arnold article about DHT first. Then if you still want to have at it. I wouldnt touch dutasteride myself.

Well it's a pretty good chance you're going to maintain your hair and even regrow some back. Why wouldn't you touch it? Side effects? It's a very small chance.

If you get off the dutasteride, the dutasteride sides disappear with time. coo coo cachoo.
